Love Suffers Long

Recently on "Love Changes It All" Radio we've talked about how love is a choice.  The Hebrew word for love translates to "long suffering".  I don't know about you but I can certainly think of some relationships where I had to endure long, difficult, and painful times in order to show love.  Since love never fails, we should expect to suffer now and then for those that we love.  It's simply part of the package.  The question is, are you ready to suffer and to what lengths will you hold on?

The world is full of examples of people who have bailed when loving someone called for suffering.  It's fair to ask if they ever truly loved in the first place.  There's one thing that's irrefutable... love suffers long.

Offer these questions in a family discussion...

How do you show love through sacrifice?

When have you given up (loving) rather than

Love suffers long
